Bounty Land
Find the varmints, shoot them and their posse and collect the bounty. Beta game released uncomplete for the GB Comp.
Made for the GB Comp 2021.
This game is built around the "crash" sound in Gb Studio. I loved it so much I wanted to make a game around it.
This is a prototype and I plan to add more "Bounties".
The usual keys
Up, Down, Left, Right directional buttons on your keyboard.
"Z" and "X" stand in for the Game Boy "A, B" buttons.
Enter for start
shift for select.
Made with GB Studio 2 beta 5, GIMP and Libresprite.

Install instructions
download the ROM file to play offline in a GB emulator or save it to a micro SD card that you can dock in a flash cart and play on the Game Boy console.

Thanks for the feedback, it’s interesting to know the problems player’s find. I have updated many glitches and added some characters to help the player understand where to go and what to do, but I can’t update this page until the GB comp is over :(
I played this when it was out, but only now I discovered that the game was not only about bountys. The horses for me looked like cows, so I only thought they where part of the scenery and didn't went there. And as for the bountys, I could not understand why the enemy always respawns at the bar, and why do the bountys never change.
Have you looked at the poster in the jail, pressed select to accept the bounty, then got on a horse? The levels open up. There is a glitch for the boss in the Kid level.
